Great breakfast daily
Breakfast at Havelock House is a real highlight of the day and many of our guests return because of them! It is served in a lovely dining room overlooking the garden or outside on the veranda. The tables are set with crisp white table cloths, linen napkins and fine Wedgwood china.
Our homemade muesli and three fruit marmalade are particular favourites. There is always fresh fruit for example melon and local Hawkes Bay strawberries or blueberries, poached rhubarb, and natural yoghurt, and a choice of cooked dishes.
Diana's poached eggs & bacon is her 'signature dish' - using eggs from our hens and local Holly bacon. You may prefer scrambled eggs & smoked salmon, local Te Mata mushrooms and lightly grilled tomatoes.
A choice of teas and freshly prepared coffee, fruit juice, toast and home made strawberry jam and marmalade.
We use local Hawke's Bay products as much as possible and are happy to cater to all dietary requirements including gluten free.
Guest lounge
The guest lounge is large and comfortable and for the sole use of the guests. A huge games room with full sized snooker table and many books and board games offers a place to relax.
